Arising Asia

Developing Asia is the most dynamically growing reion in the world today, accounting for nearly 40% of global GDP with 9 of 11 Global Growth Generating countries (Vietnam, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Mongolia, Philippines and Sri Lanka). From cars, smartphones and smart Tvs to biotechnology and renewable energy, innovation is the buzzword synonymous with Asia's stratospheric rise. The issues of social inequality, conflicts of interest and pollution coupled with new threats of climate change, limits resources and middle-income trap need to be skillfully managed or sustainable grown. The governments, corporate leaders, and World Bank agree the new economic policies, breakthrough business models and inventive resource allocation ideas are necessary to propel Asia into the next level. ICMAC 2017 shares how to develop and manage today's innovation or securing Asia's future.

 

Aim of ICMAC 2017

ICMAC 2017 is the fifth annual conference following the success in Singapore (2016, Rise of Smart Cities in Asia; 2013, Rise of ASEAN), Bali (2014, Integrating ASEAN), and Kuala Lumpur (ASEAN Entrepreneurs in Technology). The four conferences brought together international investors, Asia and US investors and innovators, and representatives of Asian governments. The participants came from incubation hubs of Asia, research think-tanks of Europe, and the Silicon Valley USA. Almost 20 International patents have been filed by participants after being inspired at the conferences.

The theme of ICMAC 2017 – Innovations in Smart Cities of East Asia - will host a gathering of like-minded people international investors, Asia and US inventors and innovators and representatives of Asian governments inventions and innovations for Smart Cities are likely to be in transport, supply chains, payments, education, health and smart landscape. The focus is on how we collaborate on developing inventions and innovations for Smart Cities across Asia. We welcome contributions that draw upon contemporary ideas and developments in practices of management, education, organizational development, climate change, financial and economic planning and other areas significant to socio-cultural, environmental and economic development Keynote speakers and participant will had from USA, UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, China and all of ASEAN.

 

Schedule

The ICMAC 2017 Smart Innovations for Smart Cities in Asia will be held on 16-17 November 2017 in Hotel Novotel Bali Ngurah Rai Airport Indonesia

Day 1 starts with the Innovators Keynote address and followed by Conference Seminars where a panel of Innovators will take turn to present and share their innovations with and provide advice to their peer innovators, innovators and researchers.

Day 2 consists of a series of seminars by incubators and researchers in specialised tracks.

The innovations and inventions presented and discussed environment, financial services, education and learning, healthcare and hospitality, and their impact on society, business and governance in urban environments.

 

Participants

ICMAC 2017 will be attended by innovators, incubators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, researchers, technologists and emerging scientists from the Asia Pacific. All new innovations that attract venture funding shall be published.
